Description

Three-storey cave located deep in a small mountain in Cu Yang Sam mountain range, this is the site of revolutionary activities of the Working Group to mobilize the masses, build the base of Area VI, Guerrilla Team A1 - H10 and the place where shelter of the M'Nong people in Lieng Krak, Yong Hat, and Dot Rpul during the "An Lac campaign" from the end of 1962 to 1963.

Three-storey cave is located in the heart of a deep valley, 70m from the top of the mountain and is hidden by ancient trees and big cliffs:

The first floor is made up of two large rocks about 10m high and 4m wide. The tops of the two rocks are clustered together to form a triangular cave with the width of the bottom surface about 3m. Standing at this position, it is possible to cover an area of ​​valleys and mountain peaks, so the Task Force to mobilize the masses and build a base in Area VI led by Comrade Ama H'Oanh (To Tan Tai) was chosen. as a place to organize meetings and deploy revolutionary activities in the years 1962 - 1963.

The second floor is located lower than the first floor and is about 3m away, with large rocks stacked on top of each other to form many small caves. This is where the Task Force and the Guerrilla Team are on duty to protect the people. Comrades in the guerrilla team used twine to form rope ladders, making it easy and convenient to move up and down the first floor. At the same time, bamboo and bamboo are used as stalls to rest, take turns on duty, guard and protect the Task Force and the people sheltering in the third cave floor.

The third floor of the cave is connected to the second floor by a path between the rocks, like a tunnel with a length of about 3m, 1.2m high. This is the shelter of hundreds of M'Nong people from Lieng Krak, Yong Hat, and Dot Rpul in the "An Lac campaign". Here, there were many propaganda campaigns, mobilizing people of the Working Group, the Guerrilla Team, and it was also the place to celebrate Tet and set up campfires for people in the early spring of 1963. At the rocks. The big cave on the cave is where the revolutionary leaders sat to discuss their work and organize the admission of the Party and the Union for the elite masses.

With the rugged terrain, large cave area and many floors, officers, guerrillas and people sheltered and operated in the Three-storey Stone Cave, avoiding many raids and raids by the enemy. In particular, in the battle against the invaders and the defense of the base in early 1963, the working group to mobilize the masses and build the base in Zone VI, the A1-H10 guerrilla team and hundreds of M'nong people were all involved. have preserved their forces, lives and withdrew safely. This was an important battle that contributed to defeating the "An Lac" operation (the enemy's largest and longest operation against the base area), in order to keep the land, win the people, and fight the encroachment of the enemy.

The historical relic of the Three-storey Stone Cave, Krong No commune, Lak district is one of the red places to pay tribute to the merits of his father's predecessors, contributing to the propaganda and education of the will and revolutionary spirit. noble, patriotic tradition, love for socialism for generations, especially the young generation in Dak Lak in particular and the whole country in general.

With that in mind, on March 6, 2020, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province issued Decision No. 454/QD-UBND classifying the Three-Storied Stone Cave as a Provincial Historical Relic.
