Chu Yang Sin National Park is located in the territory of Lak and Krong Bong districts, Daklak province. Chu Yang Sin  is a mountain range of many peaks, in which the highest one in Daklak province is Chu Yang Sin Peak with the height of 2,442 m, about 60 km away from Buon Ma Thuot City to the Southeast, has an area of 58,947 hectares, with the terrain of  mountain sides, tropical climate, high peaks and different types of forests. Including: Restricted area: 19,401 hectares; Ecological recovering area: 39,526 hectares; Administrative and service areas: 20 hectares. Chu Yang Sin National Park’s buffer zone is 183,479 hectares, it is located in the territory of Lac Duong  and Lam Ha districts, Lam Dong province and Krong Bong and Lak districts, Daklak province. This part of the park still preserve precised samples of Highlands’ high mountains’ eco-system, conserve wild animals, especially, rare and endanged species. It was initially discovered 867 species of plants at the park (143 endemic species in Vietnam in which 54 species are remarked in Vietnam Red Book); 203 bird species and 46 animals. Chu Yang Sin National Park is located in the territory of Lak and Krong Bong districts, Daklak province.
