One day while hunting, Y Drong shot a bird, the bird fell into the bamboo bush, he rushed to find it but couldn't find it, he found a whole bamboo forest but still couldn't find it, spreading it so wide that people go all day and still not finish. When the rainy season came, Y Drong decided to work in the fields that he distributed. In this field, he planted beans, he had good beans, and when he planted corn, the corn was as big as a basket. He was very happy because of the bean and corn season. big hit.
In the harvest season, the beans and corn on the fields were stolen by people, went around the village to find the thief, but did not find them, he decided to stalk to catch. One day, he hid behind a bush, and indeed saw a girl picking his beans and corn, and quickly ran out to catch the girl, her name was H'Bing. Caught by Y Drong, H'Bing cried and knelt down begging for forgiveness, promised to compensate Y Drong with many buffaloes, cows, gongs and jars, but Y Drong refused, finally H'Bing said. If Y Drong forgives him, he will vow to be his wife. At this point, Y Drong immediately agrees. The two became husband and wife and lived together very happily.
One day, Y Drong discussed with his wife to go to Tu Yang Lak mountain to cut the poles to build a house. Saying and doing, Y Drong carried the ax to the mountain to cut trees, while H' Bing stayed at home to cook and bring rice to the mountain for her husband.
One day, H'Bing was on the way to give her husband rice when she met a crow sitting on a tree branch by the Dak Lieng stream. The crow asked H'Bing where to go, she replied that she was going to give her husband rice to get wood on the mountain Tu Yang Lak, the crow told H'Bing that he knew where her husband was getting wood, if she wanted the crow would take a shortcut to get the wood. get there faster. With H'Bing's consent, the crow suddenly turned into a woman, then led H'Bing around, walking forever, he met a stream, there was a large lake, clear water, he invited her down. Bathing in the pool to cool down, continued walking, then pushed her into the deep water and drowned her to death.
When it saw that H'Bing was dead, it turned into H'Bing and continued to give rice to Y Drong. Y Drong did not know that his wife was the crow turned into, and after work, he and his wife went home as usual. Returning home, Y Drong told his wife to blow the fire to cook rice as usual, but she did not know where to put the rice, and told her to take the rice out and dry it in someone else's barn.
At home, there is a younger brother of H'Bing named Y Jun, who saw his sister's strange expressions, so he followed. One day, when everyone went to work in the fields, Y Jun returned halfway and discovered that his sister was a crow looking in the mirror, he asked but was threatened if he told Y Drong about it, he would be killed. , the crow also said that it was it who drowned H'Bing in the lake of Dak Lieng stream. Y Jun was very scared hearing that.
One day, while herding buffaloes by the lake of Dak Lieng stream, thinking of her sister, Y Jun sat crying, suddenly saw a white fish emerging and asked:
- Why is he crying?
Y Jun replied that:
- My sister was drowned in a deep lake by an evil crow, now I don't know where her sister is.
As soon as the words finished, H'Bing appeared from the water and told Y Jun everything, she said that she was now the wife of Mr. Dragon and invited Y Jun to come down to the house to play.
Y Jun says:
- The water is deep, how can I get down to my house?
H'Bing said:
- You just put water on your face and you'll be fine.
Y Jun followed and saw the house appear. When Y Jun reached H'Bing's house, she told Mr. Rong (her husband) to hide and not appear because it would scare Y Jun, but he didn't listen and still appeared. When he saw the appearance of the Dragon, Y Jun was scared and ran straight up to the shore.
Arriving at home Y Jun told his brother-in-law that H'Bing is now a crow turned into a crow, it was it who pushed her into the lake to drown, H'Bing was saved by Mr. Rong and had to be Mr. Dragon's wife. Hearing that, Y Drong discussed with Y Jun a plan to kill fake H'Bing. In the ripe fruit season, Y Drong said that in the forest there was a plum tree with many ripe and sweet fruits, Y Drong told H'Bing to climb up the plum tree to pick the fruit, below Y Drong and Y Jun set up thorns as traps, firewood to light a fire, too scared it quickly fell down and was caught in a trap. At this time, Y Drong prepared a stick to kill the crow.
After that, the two brothers went to the big lake of Dak Lieng stream hoping to see H'Bing again, Y Drong hid behind the bushes and Y Jun cried like last time. H'Bing appeared, but when she caught a glimpse of a stranger, she disappeared. The two brothers undauntedly continued to go to the stream, this time Y Drong hid behind a rock, and Y Jun stood crying, H'Bing appeared again, the two sisters sat down to talk. In order to prevent H'Bing from disappearing, Y Jun grabbed her sister's hair, at this time Y Drong stepped forward to hold his wife's hand. She cried and said:
- I can't follow him anymore, Mr. Dragon will get angry and raise water to flood the village and kill it all.
Y Drong says:
- I will tell people in the village to build high huts to avoid floods.
When Mr. Dragon heard about it, he got angry, destroyed all the houses, swallowed all the gongs, jars... and then sprayed water to cause floods. On the shore two brothers Y Drong and Y Jun prepared bows and arrows ready to fight. When the flood water was rising, a kingfisher appeared, seeing that everyone was preparing to fight, the kingfisher said:
- Let me help.
So the bird rushed to peck on the eye, causing the Dragon's eye to fail. At this time, Y Drong and Y Jun shot and killed the Dragon with bows and arrows, avoiding flooding for the village.
The next morning, everyone went to the stream to see the Dragon shot by brothers Y Drong and Y Jun, they did not see the Dragon anywhere but only heard the rushing stream. The villagers found it strange because the peaceful stream suddenly appeared with beautiful waterfalls with clear blue water.
In addition, according to the village elders, Y Drong and his wife, after killing the greedy crow and the fierce Dragon, were reunited and inherited many properties including gongs, buffaloes, etc. Since then they became the richest person in the village and often helps the poor.
