History of forming Sac Tu Khai Doan pagoda
The pagoda was built in 1951 under the direction of Doan Huy Hoang Queen Mother - King Bao Dai's mother, Nam Phuong Hoang Hau directly responsible for managing the construction with some devotees devoted to devotion. The temple is also named after Khai Doan, and is the name of King Khai Dinh and his wife Doan Huy Hoang the queen.
Diverse and sophisticated architecture
The main gate is designed in the southwest direction, looking down at Doc Hoc stream, before and after the gate are written "Khai Doan Tu". With the ground of 320m2, the pagoda has a Tam-style architecture, in front of the gate of Tam Quan, between Chinh Dien and the rear house. The roof of the pagoda is curved, bearing the shape of a flat roof, but it is flexible and smooth with pairs of long clouds.
The most special thing is the 1.15m high bronze bell, 2.7m bottom circumference, 380kg weight was cast in January 1954, the symbol of Sac Tu Khai Doan.
Currently, Sac Tu Khai Doan is suicide is the largest place of Buddhist worship in Dak Lak and is a destination to visit, worship must visit when traveling to Buon Ma Thuot city.
