Buon Don is a settlement and residence of a multi-ethnic community, including the community of the Lao ethnic group, contributing to the creation of its own nuance. Besides the existence of a wooden house bearing the classic architecture of the land of Cham - Pa flowers, as a testament to their positive integration in the material, cultural and spiritual life of ethnic group in the locality. The house on stilts is unique in that it is made entirely of wood, designed according to the stilt house architecture of the ethnic Lao - Thai, can be removed partially. Legend has it that the house was built on December 7, 1883, by a famous Laotian craftsman named Khavivong Khamsao, directly undertaking the design and construction. Construction time lasts more than 1 year. On February 19, 1885 the house was completed. On March 19, 1885 the house was officially put into use since then, more than 115 years old, is considered a worthy cultural heritage.
