The tomb of the King hunting and catching Elephant or Khunjunob headquarter is a very famous Dak Lak attraction, located in Buon Don district. This is a tomb of a powerful chief and was respected by people all over the area, who was born in Buon Don, and had great merits in the first time creating and developing the hunting and taming of forest elephants here. Visiting this tomb, you will hear about the king khunjunob born in 1828, famous for capturing hundreds of elephants, famous for being the white elephant that he brought to the Thai Royal Family in 1861. The Thai King admired and conferred on him the title of King of Elephant Hunters. He was 110 years old, chose Buon Don as his resting place.
